VERY NICE!!!
the pace here is much more laid back, and it's a great change from the craziness of hanoi. our hotel is nice, and after a bit of a walk around, we decided to get fit for some tailored suits. bob's getting measured as i write this, and while it's not $50/suit as we had read, it's still pretty cheap. i ordered a three piece suit, made with a 60% cashmere / 40% wool fabric, and two dress shirts. the total came to about $300US with shipping to my house in the states. again, not as cheap as we had originally planned, but it should all fit famously. plus, $220 for a perfectly fit suit is a pretty good deal still. they took a zillion measurements, photos of my body shape, and because of my curvy back, the tailor came out personally to look at my frame shape before he started to make the suit. best thing? we have a few fittings tomorrow and it should all ship out the following day!
